Trefethen Family Vineyards winemaker Bryan Kays joins us from the Cabernet vines in Napa Valley's Oak Knoll District during the 2023 harvest.
DB was a recent guest to this historic property, and had the pleasure of exploring the vineyards with Bryan. At the time we were in the midst of veraison (mid-August) and you could tell that despite Bryan’s calm and friendly energy his brain was buzzing with excitement over what lies ahead for the vintage!
DB is a well-known riesling fanatic, and was thrilled to hear about the Trefethen Family's commitment to the variety and how it was a big draw for Bryan to work there. We highly recommend the wine!
